Diesel Driven Hydraulic Power Unit
A continuous-duty hydraulic power source engineered for heavy industrial, mining, and construction applications where electrical supply is unavailable or unreliable. The unit integrates a water-cooled diesel engine with a load-sensing axial piston pump, delivering stable flow and pressure for high-demand hydraulic circuits. Designed for unattended operation, remote deployment, and integration with mobile machinery and fixed plant equipment.
The prime mover is a water-cooled, four-cylinder diesel engine rated at 22.5 kW continuous output. The engine is equipped with a mechanical governor, electric start, and a 45-liter fuel tank providing approximately 10 hours of operation at 75 percent load. An integrated radiator with hydraulic fan drive maintains stable operating temperature in ambient conditions up to 50°C. The engine couples directly to the pump through a bell housing and flexible coupling, eliminating belt drive maintenance and alignment issues. A dual-stage air filter with restriction indicator protects the engine in dusty environments.
The hydraulic system employs a variable-displacement axial piston pump with load-sensing control, delivering up to 90 L/min at 250 bar working pressure. The load-sensing regulator adjusts pump displacement based on downstream demand, reducing heat generation and fuel consumption during idle or low-flow periods. The 120-liter reservoir incorporates a 10-micron full-flow return filter with bypass indicator, a magnetic drain plug, and an air breather with desiccant. A thermostatically controlled oil cooler maintains reservoir temperature within the optimal 45-60°C range. The circuit includes a main pressure relief valve, a pressure gauge, and two sets of ISO 16028 flat-face couplers for tool connection.
Fuel consumption depends on load profile. At 75 percent continuous load, consumption is approximately 4.8 liters per hour. At idle or low-flow demand, the load-sensing pump reduces engine load and consumption drops to approximately 1.8 liters per hour. The 45-liter tank provides approximately 10 hours of operation at 75 percent load or up to 24 hours under light intermittent demand.
The standard configuration operates from -15°C to 50°C with appropriate hydraulic oil selection. For sustained operation below -15°C, a cold-weather package is available that includes engine block heater, battery warming blanket, arctic-grade hydraulic oil, and heated control enclosure. This package extends the operating range to -30°C.
The unit is supplied with two sets of ISO 16028 flat-face couplers rated for 250 bar. Connection to existing machinery requires matching couplers on the machine side. For machines with different connection standards, adapter sets are available. The load-sensing pump automatically adjusts to the flow and pressure requirements of the connected circuit, simplifying integration.
Engine oil and filter change: every 250 hours. Fuel filter: every 500 hours. Air filter: inspected every 100 hours, replaced when restriction indicator activates. Coolant: checked weekly, replaced every 2000 hours or 24 months. Valve clearance: adjusted every 1000 hours. The unit includes a service interval indicator on the control panel.
Yes. An optional CAN bus telemetry module enables remote monitoring of engine parameters, hydraulic pressure and flow, fuel level, and fault codes. Data are transmitted via 4G LTE or satellite depending on site coverage. The system supports integration with SCADA platforms through Modbus TCP and can generate SMS or email alerts for critical events.
