Wuhu Qisheng Releases Remote-Controlled Dredging Robot

Wuhu Qisheng Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd. has announced the launch of its new Dredging Robot, a remote-controlled hydraulic machine designed for efficient and safe underwater sediment removal. The new product expands the company's hydraulic equipment lineup and responds to the growing demand for dredging solutions that reduce risks while maintaining strong working performance.

The Dredging Robot is a tracked, remote-controlled system developed for dredging and desilting operations in rivers, lakes, ponds, reservoirs, and industrial water areas. It combines a 37 kW electric-powered hydraulic power unit with a compact robot body, allowing operators to carry out dredging work from a safe distance instead of working directly in or near the water.

Designed Around Safety and Efficiency

One of the main goals behind the new product is to address the safety challenges of traditional dredging. Manual dredging and conventional machinery often require workers to operate in hazardous conditions. The new Wuhu Qisheng Dredging Robot tackles this issue by enabling full remote control, so operators can manage the machine without being exposed to dangerous underwater or shoreline environments.

The robot body weighs approximately 350 kg and moves on rubber tracks, making it stable and maneuverable in challenging underwater conditions. It is equipped with a hydraulic lifting spiral auger that loosens and gathers sediment, while a 4-inch water pump with a 100 mm inlet, 25 m head, and 200 m³ flow capacity moves the material efficiently. Three waterproof LED lights allow the robot to work in low-visibility conditions, and an RVV shielded communication cable ensures reliable signal transmission between the robot and the operator.

A Complete, Integrated System

The Dredging Robot is supplied as a complete system consisting of a power unit and a robot body. The power unit houses a 37 kW electric motor running on 380 V, paired with a piston pump and gear pump that together deliver 110 L of hydraulic flow. A 50 m oil hose, managed by a hydraulically driven pipeline and cable reel, gives the robot a wide working range. An air-cooled radiator helps keep the hydraulic system at a stable temperature during extended operation.

According to the company, this integrated design was developed with real job site conditions in mind, particularly the need for equipment that is powerful enough for demanding tasks but still manageable in terms of transportation and deployment.
