The Intelligent Drainage Robot For Pumping Station Drainage is a specialized inspection and maintenance platform designed for the challenging environment of wastewater and stormwater pumping stations. The robot is configured for operation in both wet wells (submerged) and dry wells (atmospheric), with a compact form factor that fits through standard access hatches (600 mm diameter). The system integrates a multi-gas detector (H2S, CH4, O2, CO), a thermal imaging camera for bearing and motor temperature monitoring, and a high-resolution visual inspection camera with 30x optical zoom. The robot includes a 5-degree-of-freedom manipulator arm for valve operation, debris removal, and sample collection. All operations are controlled from a portable surface console with dual-screen display and redundant communication links (fiber optic and wireless).
